Psyche Power Hour this Saturday – Devil’s Kitchen live at Family Dog March 22 1970

Devil's Kitchen PosterUntil Rusty shared this show with us this week, I don’t think I’d heard of the Devil’s Kitchen Band. Originally from Illinois. They lived and performed in San Francisco from 1968 through the Summer of 1970 and were the “house band” at Chet Helm’s “Family Dog Ballroom on the Great Highway.” Lead vocalist and guitarist Robbie Stokes remained in the Bay area for 12 years, working with Dead members Micky Hart and Robert Hunter on their solo albums, and as a bassist for Quicksilver Messenger Service. Psychedelicized Radio is proud to present, for your delectation, Devil’s Kitchen live at Family Dog at the Great Highway (San Francisco) March 22 1970! Be there and shake your hair! 🙂
Tune in usual times this Saturday for a rare treat! 7pm UK, NY & SF
