The Avengers were a band out of Brisbane, Australia, that found some local success for a couple of years in the late 1960’s. Not to be confused with the Avengers from America or New Zealand, this band recorded the excellent “Listen, Listen,” a song that heavily shows the influence of The Beatles. The song was produced by Howard Gable. The flip-side, “Just One More Chance,” is not nearly as accredited as the A-side.
