The Bad Boys

From: Maryland, USA

Originally known as Billy Joe & The Continentals, the band left Billy Joe Ash in 1965. Now a trio, the band changed their name to the Bad Boys. Members were Demetri Callas (guitar), Danny Conway (drums), and Gary R. St. Clair (guitarm bass). They toured all over the place, and in 1968 were noticed by Columbia Records. The name of the band then changed to Flavor (not to be confused with the psychedelic band Flavor out of New York).

In 1966, the Bad Boys released “Love” / “Black Olives”. “Love” is a catchy tune with great fuzz guitar, while “Black Olives” is a slower instrumental featuring keyboard and bass solos.
