The Boys Blue

From: Broadgate, London, England

The Boys Blue are an act that has caused much confusion over the years, especially among those who are serious British Invasion collectors. It has often been thought that the Boys Blue was a pseudonym for an early version of the Sorrows. This is because both sides of the Boys Blue 1965 single, “Take A Heart” / “You Got What I Want”, were also recorded by the Sorrows. Also, both songs were written by Miki Dallon. Dallon wrote four songs that the Sorrows recorded over their short career. As it turns out, The Boys Blue is an entirely different act than the Sorrows, releasing the two songs before the Sorrows did theirs. This mix of great R&B/pop blend is a compliment to any individual collection.
