Charade

From: Cleveland, OH, USA

Charade were a short-lived project that released one single for Epic Records in July 1970. The band was formed in 1968 by Buddy Maver and Tony Bodanza, and was initially known as The Charades. Other members included guitarists Bill Hanna and John Vossos. They became one of the most popular dance bands in their two-year incarnation, playing packed houses at the Agora, the Plato, and the In Spot. Their lone single was released in 1970. The A-side features the excellent “And You Do.” The band fell apart shortly after the release of the single.
