The Curiosity Shoppe were a band out of Liverpool who formed during the psychedelic era. They debuted at the Cavern Club and had a heavier sound very similar to early Deep Purple, with heavy guitars and bass and a big organ sound. In 1968, the band signed with Decca Records and released one single, “Baby I Need You” / “So Sad,” on Decca’s progressive/psychedelic-oriented Deram imprint. The Curiosity Shoppe disappeared shortly after the release of this single.
