The Cedars

From: Lebanon

Although they originally hailed from Lebanon, the Cedars relocated to the UK, and were originally known as the Sea-ders. Their 1968 single “For Your Information” / “Hide If You Want To Hide” was recorded in the UK and produced by Tony Clarke. The A-side features balalaikas as the lead instrument, as well as some great harmonies. In 2008, a collection of the band’s recorded material was released. The album includes classics like “I Like The Way” and “I Don’t Know Why.”
