Bill Fay

FayFrom: London, England

Singer, pianist, and songwriter Bill Fay was signed to the Deram label in 1967, where his debut single “Some Good Advice” / “Screams in my Ears” would be released. Following the release of the single, Fay recorded two albums. In 1970, he released a self-titled album, and in 1971, Fay released Time of the Last Persecution. Neither album did well and Deram dropped Fay from the label. Bill Fay would return to the studio in the late ’70s, but the material from those sessions was not released until his comeback in 2005. 2004 saw the release of a collection of demos recorded between 1966-1970.
