The Feelies

From: Seattle, WA, USA

The Feelies were a Seattle-based band that recorded three singles in the late 1960’s, all on the Jerden label. Gordon Kjellberg (guitar) and Wild Bill Hornibrook (keyboards) were the band’s only two consistent members. They had two different bassists in Rick Fondell and Rick Bullard, and three drummers in “Shuga” George Clark, Vern Palm and George “Shakey Roe” O’Brien. Bob Holden (drums), formerly of Don & The Goodtimes, has also been cited as a band member at one time. “Happy” was released in 1969 and is a great example of garage rock.
