There isn’t a lot known about Five By Five, a garage rock band out of Arkansas. The band released the album Next Exit in 1968 along with eight singles between 1967 and 1971. Band members included Ronnie Plants (vocals), Bill Merritt (lead guitar), Tim Milam (organ), Larry Andrews (bass) and Doug Green (drums). Their only real success was with the release of a cover of the Jimi Hendrix song “Fire”. The song went to #52 on the Billboard chart.
