Fresh Air

From: Los Angeles, CA, USA

There isn’t a lot of information available on this obscure band out of L.A. other than they issued on LP (A Breath Of Fresh Air) in early 1970. The band consisted of Marc Piscitelli, Peter Plumeri, Allen Carey, Tim Whitcanack and Mike Jones. The album features some excellent psych numbers, including “Faces In The Fire” and “Sailor Man.” All songs were written by Louie Caridi, considered to be the band’s unofficial sixth member. Piscitelli went on to enjoy a career as an engineer and a backing vocalist for the likes of Spirit, Glen Campbell, Juice Newton and John Travolta.
