Frisco Mint

From: Niles/Ravenna, OH, USA

Frisco Mint were a popular garage band in the Niles/Ravenna corridor of Ohio. Originally known as the Diamond Rings, the band changed their name to Frisco Mint around the time they released the excellent “Which End Is Up” on the Eastwood label in 1968. In fact, the name change didn’t occur until after the record was pressed, so many copies are stickered with the new name over Diamond Rings (however some copies with Diamond Rings as the artist still exist).
