The French Revolution

From: Montreal, QC, Canada

Formerly known as The Sinners, this French Canadian group from Montreal, Quebec, recorded several singles and two albums over the course of their career. Two singles were recorded in English, with the remainder being sung in French. Their debut single is the excellent “Nine Till Five”, a great bit of psych-punk with nice fuzz guitar. It was recorded in 1969 on the Decca label and has since been featured on multiple compilation series. Their second single, “Americas”, was also released in 1969, and was also released under the moniker Kids.
