From: Holland
The Motions were a Dutch band that found some minor success in their home country, releasing seven albums and 27 singles over their eight year existence. The band had a folkish sound on some records, and a mod rocker feel on others. The Motions are best remembered for their lead guitarist, Robby Van Leeuwen, who left the band in 1967 to go and form the Shocking Blue. Van Leeuwen would penn the major hit “Venus.” ~ Allmusic.com
