7th Seal

From: Bridgewater, VA, USA

The 7th Seal were a short-lived band out of Virginia, and were originally known as The English Muffins. Their lone album was limited to only about 400 copies, and was taken from tapes of an unreleased Justice LP. Arguably the best track on the album is “Make Your Bed,” a folk-punk song that ends in a crescendo of drums and feedback. The 7th Seal released one single in 1968, “People Grow On You” / “The Day Before Love.” Failing to garner much interest, the band soon faded into obscurity. Original band members included Larry Traitor (vocals), Ed “Shred Schroeder (guitar), Danny Legge (guitar), Marc Farley (bass, vocals), and William Craun (drums).
