Baker Street Irregulars

Baker Street IrregularsFrom: Lancaster, PA, USA

Baker Street Irregulars did a cover of Bo Diddley’s great “I’m A Man” in 1966, which has appeared on the Pebbles Compilation series. Their version features some excellent guitar work and some crazy sound effects that make it very true to the times. Baker Street Irregulars were signed to Largo Records, and were seen as the bad kids of Lancaster that wouldn’t be played on WLAN. The Tapewrecks blog features an interview with band member Steve that is well worth checking out.
