The Bumble Bees formed in 1965 with members Jim Ten Boske (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Joop Lelieveld (guitar, vocals), Rene Bakker (bass), and Nico Overgaauw (drums). The band only lasted until 1967, releasing one EP and three singles. They released their first single in 1966 with “I Was Blind” / “A Girl Of My Kind.” The B-side is a solid example of 1960s garage rock.
