The Californians

From: Anaheim, CA, USA

Not to be confused with the band the Californians who hailed from Britain, the Californians out of the U.S. were formed by some of the members of the surf-rock band the Avengers IV. The band released a total of three singles, most notably “Nausea Beast” / “Glass Disguise” on the Crazy Horse label in 1969. Material for an album was recorded but has yet to be released. The Californians would change their name to the Good Guys in the early 1970s. They released a single in 1974, but broke up shortly after.
