The Corporation

From: Milwaukee, WI, USA

The Corporation were a psychedelic rock band from the United States. The band released three albums over the course of their career. Band members included Kenneth Berdoll (bass, vocals), Nicholas Kondos (drums, vocals), John Kondos (guitar, flute, harp, piano, vocals), Gerard Smith (guitar, vocals), Daniel Pell (vocals), and Patrick McCarthy (organ, trombone). The Corporation released their debut album, Get On Our Swing, in 1967 on the Age Of Aquarius label. Their follow-up album was 1969’s The Corporation. This album features a slew of excellent tracks, including their version of John Coltrane’s “India.” The song is credited to John Coletrane on the back of the album jacket. All other tracks on the album were written by The Corporation. This album was released on Capitol Records. For their third and final album, The Corporation released Hassles In My Mind in 1970, this time going back to Age Of Aquarius. The band would fall apart soon after.
