Bill Kenwright & The Runaways

From: Liverpool, Merseyside, England

Bill Kenwright is best known for his career in theatre and film as a producer. Kenwright is also the Chairman of Everton Football Club. While his career in theatre and film is what he is best known for, Kenwright did delve lightly into the music scene.

Bill Kenwright is one of the UK’s most successful theatre producers. His best known work is the long-running Blood Brothers and the record breaking tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. It is said that Kenwright employs more actors in a year than any other employer other than the BBC.

Although secondary to his career in theatre/film, Kenwright created his own record label which has released three albums as of February 2008. Kenwright began his music career with a band called the Chevrolets, before he went onto have a brief solo career as well as a stint with a group called the Runaways.
