The Nirvana Sitar And String Group

From: USA

The Nirvana Sitar And String Group released only one album over their brief existence. They released Sitar & Strings in 1968 on Audio Fidelity’s subsidiary label Mr. G. The album is very similar to the Lord Sitar or Rajput & The Seypoy Mutiny albums. Of the eleven tracks, eight are covers, including interesting renditions of Procol Harum’s “Whiter Shade Of Pale,” The Box Tops’ “The Letter,” and The Supremes’ “You Keep Me Hangin’ On.”
