Saturday’s Children

From: Chicago, IL, USA

Saturday’s Children is a band that were obsessed with the Beatles. The band was similar to fellow American acts like the Knickerbockers and Barry and the Remains. Saturday’s Children released an eight-track EP in 1966, and the music is quite tasteful. Members of the band were Jeff Boyan (bass, vocals), Dave Carter (guitar), Ron Holder (guitar, vocals), Rick Goettler (organ), and George Paluch (drums). Originally, Saturday’s Children were known as Dalek/Engam: The Blackstones. Boyan would go onto join H.P. Lovecraft, moving to California. Boyan later played for Hezikah. Carter would join the Cryan’ Shames.
