ThundertreeFrom: Minneapolis, MIN, USA

Thundertree were a short-lived psychedelic/progressive rock band out of Minnesota. Their self-titled album is now becoming a minor collectable. The band evolved out of The Good Idea, who split in 1969. John Miesen landed the band a deal with Roulette on the basis of an unreleased track by The Good Idea, which was used for the second side of the Thundertree album. Songs such as “At The Top Of The Stairs,” “Pepper Palace,” and “Summertime Children” showcase the band’s psychedelic side.
